R.L.C. Custom Engineering Services

In-House Custom Design for R.L.C.:
    R.L.C. Enterprises, Inc. has taken one of our new XScale units, the XScale-Extreme, and created a custom design for an in-house application. We took the XScale-Extreme, re-laid it out and created a custom version of our operating system. The computer board was modified so it could be integrated into a Pro Formula Mazda race car. It's been designed to mount either to the dash of the race car or directly to the steering wheel. We've made two different units, a data logging unit and a data display unit. The 6.5 in. sunlight readable, extended temperature LCD display on the XScale-Extreme is the graphical instrumentation panel for the car. The racing software was written by one of our engineers. The program allows the driver and the pit crew to set up the car exactly the way they want. For more information about these racing units please visit our racing web site. Custom Engineering Services In General:
    All custom designs and services will require a minimum initial order. Custom designs are provided on a quote only basis and are available only to existing customers who have evaluated the R.L.C. product that is to be re-designed and/or customized.  Non-recurring engineering and proto-type charges are kept low, and in some cases eliminated entirely by a requirement and commitment for volume production quantities. If your projected usage is less than the indicated units per year, our off-the-shelf operating system and computer products will provide the best value in lower quantities.
