This section is provided only for the XScale-Lite, Mini, 5.7, Maxi, Magnum, and Extreme units.
You can use this section to see if an operating system update may be useful. Please use this link if your unit requires an upgrade.

     

Release 6.02:

1. Added all existing patches and updates available, through WinCEPB60-080430-2008M04-Armv4I.msi
2. Added Compact Framework 3.5.
3. Added Bluetooth software support for various USB sticks and compact flash cards.
4. Updated Demo programs(seperate) for Visual Studio 2008
5. Fixed unique MAC address issue with RLC Ethernet Card.
6. Added RLC_ENET card bios download support for entire XScale product line.
7. Added plug and play ability to all I/O cards with built in drivers (Ethernet, CAN, Serial IO).
8. Added support for additional functionality from the micropod series.
9. Modified Touchpanel driver to consume less CPU usage.

Release 6.01:

1. Modified the OS to enhance use with 6.5" transflective display.
2. Extended memory allocated to the USB Host so more items/devices can added using a hub.
3. Added and modified drivers for user interrupt support.
4. Fixed multiple memory leaks in rlc_arm.dll. Only users affected are users that called the rlc_arm.dll rapidly and repeadedly.

Release 6.0:

No known bugs.

Release 5.032:

No known bugs, added documentation, demonstration programs, and drivers for the XScale-I/O boards only.

Release 5.03:

No known bugs, added features only.

Added Compact Framework 2.0 which allows our units to be completely compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio 5.0. You do not need any additional patches or service packs to make Visual Studio 2005 work properly with our units.
Added drivers for the following wireless ethernet cards:

AmbiCom WL1100C-CF
Socket E300
Socket E500

Implemented Suspend power savings mode and added RLC_Suspend to the RLC_ARM.dll

Release 5.02:

No known bugs, added features only.

All added features have demos and drivers.
Added USB Host Printer Class Drivers (PCL) for all boards except XScale-Lite
Implemented Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) 2 Channels for all boards
Display Driver for 5.7 in. and 8.4 in. LCD display
Dip Switch Settings for LCD Displays reallocated (See On-Line Manual). Dip Switch settings are now only applicable for the XScale-Lite and XScale-Mini, the XScale-Extreme, XScale-Maxi and XScale-Magnum LCD setting are set through the BIOS. The Dip Switch settings are used to select the XScale model and size of the LCD display.
New manual on-line for current version of the operating system. If you have an older version of the operating system, please use the manual on the RLC-CD that came with your development kit or send the unit in for an upgrade.
Execution for remote desktop feature has been modified, please see the on-line manual for new steps to run the remote desktop feature.

Release 5.01:

No known bugs.
