XScale-Lite, Micro, Mini, 5.7, Maxi, Magnum, or Extreme.

     This service will be performed FREE! of charge if you have purchased your Windows CE 6.0 CPU board or development system within the past six (6) months and would like to upgrade it to our most recent version of Windows CE 6.0 available from R.L.C. for your particular board. Please see our revision history for the most recent version available from R.L.C.

     Windows CE 6.0 units older than six months may be upgraded for $150.00 provided you are within your six month technical support window.

     After six (6) months a charge of $550.00 will apply. A $550.00 paid upgrade will also extend your technical support for an additional six (6) months. You can upgrade your Windows CE 6.0 CPU to the most recent version of Windows CE 6.0. Additional units can be sent in for upgrade at a charge of $150.00 per unit.

      This upgrade will bring your operating system and software development system 100% up to date and will include the latest R.L.C. version of the Windows CE 6.0 operating system for that board, new documentation, and new demo programs. This offer does not include any necessary repairs, or does not apply to production units, or Beta units. Due to hardware changes, Windows CE 5.0 CPUs can not be upgrade to Windows CE 6.0.      Check the Windows CE Revision History under revision history at this web site to see what software and hardware updates may be available for your present development system. Technical Support for updates from R.L.C. will be limited to the following.

A free upgrade will not extend your technical support past the six (6) month initial period.
A $150.00 paid upgrade will not extend your technical support past the six (6) month initial period.
A $550.00 paid upgrade in addition to the upgrade will extend your technical support for an additional six (6) months.

How To Return Your System For Upgrade:
1. Return your R.L.C. Windows CE development system along with your RLC-CD. Do not return the cables, power supply, or printed documentation. The update can not be performed without the complete unit being returned to our factory. You can not perform the update at your location.

2. You should remove extra stand-offs. Do not disassemble the unit. Pack your system carefully to prevent shipping damage and insure your system for possible shipping damage. You are responsible for all shipping to and from R.L.C. If the unit is not properly packaged or shipped, R.L.C. reserves the right to refuse this service and void the existing warranty.

3. You do not need an RMA number. Please complete and include the following RMA Form with your return shipment. Just fill out the information that pertains. You must include the following information: company name, contact person, return address, and method of payment if required.

4. R.L.C. will return shipments best way, or if specified for an additional charge you may request another method of shipping. Overseas shipments will be sent UPS world wide express only. Domestic shipments will be sent UPS ground unless otherwise specified. Your invoice will include exact shipping charges. You are responsible for all shipping to and from R.L.C.
