Sensors

   Sensors from RLC come pre-wired with a connector. Also included with the sensors is the mating connector and pins needed to connect to the wiring harness. Custom wiring harnesses with the mating connector attached are also available. Let us know the length of each of the analog and digital channels and we will attach the connector to the end of the wires for you. Now all you have to do is install the harness in your car and snap it into the sensors. Analog sensors use a 4-pin connector, Digital Inputs use a 3-pin connector, and Digital Outputs use a 2-pin connector. Sensor drawings are available under technical support and show you how to quickly connect the sensor to the wiring harness.

   Listed below are the different sensors that RLC has for sale. Wheel speed sensors are not needed if you are using GPS.

Mating Connector Kit

This mating connector kit comes free with any sensor that you purchase. It is either a 4-pin (analog), 3-pin (digital input), or 2-pin (digital output) connector. Kit includes mating connector, pins, corresponding label, and shrink tubing. Please check our Tech Support for sensor drawings and how to connect the sensors properly.

Brake Pressure Sensor (2500 PSI) (12V)

Pressure Sensor (1-100 PSI) (Oil and Fuel) (12V, High Performance)

EGT Sensor (Amplifier)
EGT amplifier must be used with thermocouple probe below. Plugs directly into harness.

 

Thermocouple Probe (K-Type)
Comes with probe and mounting bungs. Thermocouple probe must be used with EGT amplifier above. Plugs directly into harness.

Lambda/Oxygen Sensor (Wideband)
Comes with sensor, amplifier, and mounting bungs.

Linear Position Sensors
Linear position sensors can be used for steering, throttle, or shocks. Available in four different sizes: 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm.

String Potentiometer - 12in.
String potentiometer sensor can be used for steering or throttle. Available in sizes up to 50 inches.

Relay for Digital Output - 10 Amp
Connect for fans, fire extinguisher, or warning lights. Each relay provides the user with a normally open or normally closed connection so you can connect to anything.

 CAN to Analog Expansion Module
The CAN to analog expansion module adds 4 additional analog input channels to any of the Micro Pod units. The module can be used to connect to any analog sensor, you can even order it with 4 EGT sensors. Up to 16 analog expansion modules can be added to a Micro Pod unit for a total of 48 additional analog inputs. All additional analog inputs are logged.
